About Dale
Dale is a five-year-old, 20-pound neutered and vaccinated dachshund who has recently had a dental cleaning and is microchipped. He is a devoted cuddler who is housebroken, treat-motivated, and loves car rides and constant companionship with his people. Dale does best as an only dog, as he is reactive to other dogs and possessive of his toys; he would also benefit from a home with older children (age 10 and up) and a freestanding house, as he is vocal. He is shy with new people but warms up quickly, enjoys burrowing in his bed at night, and displays typical dachshund traits like sunbathing and raising his paw for attention.
