Couldn't sleep either? Hi. Rita here.

I've been through a lot for such a little girl, but I'm still full of curiosity and love—I just need someone patient enough to explore the world with me.

My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Sanford.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Rita

About Rita

Meet Rita!Rita and her 5 siblings have already had quite the adventure in their short little lives. They were found living in the woods and then taken to an overcrowded shelter in Alabama before the Pilots for Paws flew them to Central Florida where they came to PRBJ. Despite all they have been through, this little litter is so sweet and good natured.Rita is the most adventurous of the pups. She is always looking new places and things to explore and check out. She is very playful and can be too much at times for some of her siblings. She would love to have another active dog in the home but no required. An active owner/family would be ideal for this little adventure seeker.Important Information for New Puppy Parents Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog, dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential. We strongly recommend that the entire family participate in puppy training classes. This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures everyone uses the same commands and techniques, creating a clear and consistent learning environment. **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families! Let's set them up for a lifetime of love and success.
