Couldn't sleep either? Hi. Washington here.
I'm a gentle soul who's been waiting for someone to call me theirs, and I promise to follow you everywhere with a full heart and cuddles at bedtime.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
Born and (almost) raised right here in Las Vegas.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — Washington

About Washington
Washington is a sweet 2-year-old lemon-colored Beagle who found himself at a high-kill shelter with no one coming to claim him. We were so glad we could get him out safely. This handsome boy is easy-going, friendly, and loves being around people. He enjoys attention, playtime, and following you from room to room. Washington has mastered the dog door, is fully house trained, and gets along great with other dogs. He also loves to cuddle and sleep with his people. He does have mild separation anxiety, so he would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. Washington is ready to be a loyal and loving companion — he just needs his forever family to spoil him! Adoption fee is $325 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older
