About Bucky
Meet Bucky! Meet Bucky, a sweet and affectionate 1.5 year old Chihuahua mix weighing around 12 lbs. Bucky came to us as a shy and timid boy but has blossomed into the most loving little velcro dog who will steal your heart completely. He's a fantastic walker who sticks right by your side and walks beautifully on a leash. He's a big sniffer and loves exploring every scent along the way. He's alert and aware of his surroundings and can be a bit reactive to sounds, so a quieter environment suits him best. Bucky is incredibly velcro and will want to be near you constantly, though he's respectful about it and won't be constantly underfoot. He loves to run around the yard, play, and chew open his toys when he's feeling comfortable and at home. He's shy and timid at first and may shiver, shake, and keep his distance in the beginning, but give him time and patience and he'll warm up into a total cuddle bug who loves to lick and snuggle. He's also a bit of a foodie with expensive taste and knows exactly which treats are the good ones! Bucky is fully potty trained, neutered, and vaccinated. He does best in a calm and patient home where someone is around during the day. If you are looking for a loyal, loving, and gentle companion, Bucky is your guy! Bucky would love another dog to pal around with. This will help his confidence a lot. He is not suitable for a home with young children (over 10 is ok). Bucky is vaccinated, neutered and chipped. His adoption fee is $450
