About Cuddles

Cuddles is a 10-year-old Corgi who came to the rescue when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. Currently weighing around 35 pounds, she is on a weight loss journey and needs a family committed to daily walks, measured feedings, and healthy treats. She is affectionate and people-oriented, always eager to be near her family and receive attention, and she enjoys a good afternoon nap. Cuddles is housetrained, non-destructive, and crates well at night; she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on immunizations, heartworm negative, and recently had a dental cleaning. She does well with other dogs and cats, though her herding instincts can be triggered by barking or running, so she would do best with calm, older dogs in the home. She has a typical corgi alert bark and may not be suited to shared walls. Cuddles needs a home where someone is present most of the time and ideally has a fenced yard; she is still working on leash manners and can pull and bark at unfamiliar dogs. She is good with older children and would thrive with an active family ready to enjoy her golden years together.
