Hi there! NOLA here.

I'm that girl who walks in like she's been waiting for you her whole life, ready to make a home wherever you decide we belong together.

I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Franklin.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — NOLA

About NOLA

Nola is one of those strikingly beautiful dogs that creates an emotion of wanting to hug her, pet her and to get to know her. She makes it easy for all humans to approach her and become friends. This 2 year old Aussie Mix girl weights 77 pounds and she is a girl who makes herself right at home when she knows she is invited to stay. She was found as a stray in a small town in rural Tennessee and no history is known of her past. As she stayed at the small shelter for a month (summers are brutal in this small town with few adopting visitors) she exhibited no tension from all the drama and barking that surrounded her from other dogs. Shelters are stressful but Nola stayed calm as a summer cucumber! She is a girl that needs some polishing. She is pretty much housebroken but need to know the lay of a home and the schedule that she will need to go out for potty breaks. She is easy to enjoy and have around. Pretty good on a leash too!. Crate training is a bit of a mystery at this point. We do not think that a home where she is crated for 9 hours daily would be advisable. A fenced yard is of great benefit to her a dog like her. The breed needs exercise and is not an apartment couch potato for long hours. Walks and backyard hangout time is of great advantage for her. Nola is a healthy girl with so much to give and of course she is ready to take as much love as a family can give. If you are interested in this beauty please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com We can and will respond quickly. She can be transported from Nashville, TN where she is staying, up to the northeastern states or just be adopted locally. If you think you have the right place in life for this girl please email quickly or text 615-661-5333 ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.
