I'm a compact 20-pound philosopher who believes the best life is good food, dog friends, and endless naps with my person once I know you're trustworthy.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I've been holding down the fort in Las Vegas, hoping someone like you would wander by.

About Zeus
Zeus is a sweet young Beagle-Basset mix, estimated to be 3–4 years old. He's a petite guy, weighing only about 20 lbs. He previously had a family, but they didn't have time for him and had not provided any veterinary care. Since coming into rescue, he's been making wonderful progress. Zeus can be a little timid with new people at first, but he grows more confident and social every day. He loves playing with other dogs, is a great eater, and is already very good with the dog door. Once he settles in, he becomes super affectionate, enjoys sleeping with his people, and is very playful with his canine friends. Adoption fee is $325 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years. Therefore, beagles or any other breed who are under 3 years of age will NOT be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals who are 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older
