Oh, hello you! Ann here.
I've been waiting for someone to see what I already know—that a good heart can survive anything, and mine's ready to give all its love to the person brave enough to take a chance on me.
For the record, I'm good with other dogs — honestly, I mostly just want to be near my people.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I've been holding down the fort in Tabernash, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Ann

About Ann
Found as a stray in rural Oklahoma, her finder was feeding Ann and her brother Dan with hopes to find them a place to go, but sadly in the meantime another neighbor shot them. Ann has fragments in her chest (near the lung) but is breathing normally and her vet is hopeful that they will not harm her. Despite the pain she has experienced, she is a happy, loving girl who is always seeking attention from anyone who will look in her direction! Ann is being fostered on a ranch where she has done well with other dogs and is not bothered by the farm cats or cattle. To meet this 1 yr old, 44lb girl, apply at mountainpetrescue.org
