I'm a gorgeous husky who adores my people and long walks—just need a patient home where I can decompress and learn that good things aren't going anywhere.
I'm the calm one (it's in writing). A quiet home and a patient hand and I'm yours.

About Bethel
5 year old (female) 50lbs. Bethel is looking for a foster home that is a better fit as she continues to decompress. She is an incredibly sweet girl who loves walks, adores people, has been wonderful with kids, and completely ignores cats. She responds well to gentle correction and truly enjoys being with her people. As she's settled in, she's shown resource guarding around food, toys, resting spaces, her kennel, and people. While some of these behaviors may lessen as she adjusts, it would be easier to manage in a home without another dog. Bethel has some separation anxiety , totally understood as we don't know her background and was living in a shelter! She needs time to decompress and build confidence. None of these behaviors change what a wonderful dog Bethel is. She arrived underweight and is still adjusting to a completely new environment. She deserves a placement where she can feel secure and continue making progress.
