Psst… night owl. Hi. Kopi here.
I'm a devoted little soul searching for someone who wants a shadow that snores—I'll follow you everywhere, love you fiercely, and make you laugh with my wrinkly face.
Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that scare you off — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I'm a Somerville local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Labor Day I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Either way, thank you for seeing me today. That part mattered more than you know. — Kopi

About Kopi
Kopi is a 5½-year-old pug weighing 18 pounds who came to rescue from Los Angeles. He is sweet, funny, affectionate, and loyal, with a deep bond to his person and a strong preference for being part of the action throughout the day. Kopi is friendly with strangers and other dogs; a calm, friendly small dog companion would be a bonus, though his true love is being with his people. Kopi struggles with being left alone and becomes vocal when crated by himself; he does best in a home where people are present much of the time, such as a work-from-home, retired, or dog-friendly office household. He is making excellent progress with house training but does not pee on leash, so a fenced yard or area is essential. He knows basic commands, is food motivated, and eager to learn, though he will need patience and a family committed to continued training. Kopi has ongoing eye care needs requiring daily eye drops and takes joint and digestive supplements. He requires a climate-controlled home, as heat and overexertion are not suitable for him; leisurely walks are his preference. He needs minimal stairs and benefits from ramps for furniture access, as he requires assistance coming down flights of stairs. Kopi also gets very excited in the car and prefers to ride secured in the back seat. Kopi's ideal home includes people present much of the day, a secure yard with careful door management, minimal stairs, a big bed to share, and a family who loves cuddling and is willing to invest time in his continued learning and lifelong medical care.
