Oh, hello you! Chipp-ARR here.

I'm a pint-sized charmer with a heart twice my size, and I'm finally learning that life is absolutely magnificent when you've got the right person believing in you.

Word is I'm a championship snuggler. I don't like to brag, but the notes don't lie.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and the occasional zoomie) saved up for the right person.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Pataskala.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Chipp-ARR

About Chipp-ARR

Meet Chipp – A Tiny Yorkie with a Big Heart Looking for His Person Chipp is a 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. Having spent the first part of his life in a puppy mill, many everyday experiences are still new to him. Every day he gains a little more confidence, and it's incredibly rewarding to watch him blossom. Chipp is looking for a patient, understanding family that will let him learn at his own pace. He does well with crate training and is making progress with housetraining when kept on a consistent schedule. He's also learning to walk on a leash and discovering that toys, soft beds, and gentle affection are all pretty wonderful things. Because of his puppy mill background, Chipp will do best with an adopter who has previous Yorkshire Terrier experience or experience with shy or undersocialized dogs. He'll thrive with someone who understands that trust is earned and that the biggest victories often come in small steps. Chipp enjoys the company of other dogs and does well with cats. He would love a securely fenced yard or enclosed courtyard where he can safely explore while continuing to build his confidence. An active home that can include him in everyday life would be ideal. Since Chipp is still adjusting to life as a cherished family member, he'd do best with someone who is home much of the day—perhaps someone who works from home, has a flexible schedule, or is semi-retired. He enjoys having his people nearby and will continue to flourish with consistency and companionship. Because of his tiny size, Chipp would be happiest in a home with older, respectful children or an adults-only household. If you're willing to invest a little patience, Chipp will reward you with the joy of watching a puppy mill survivor discover what it truly means to be loved. There's nothing quite like earning the trust of a dog who has waited his whole life for someone to believe in him. Chipp's adoption donation is $575, and he is being fostered in Central Ohio. Chipp has been neutered, microchipped, received his rabies, distemper/parvo, bivalent canine influenza, and Bordetella vaccines, tested negative for heartworms, and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Chipp has also had a dental cleaning.
