About ROCKY
Adopted from us in 2024 and now back to us as an owner surrender when his beloved dad was no longer physically able to care for him- Rocky is hoping to find the family that he can spend HIS forever with! At 86.30 pounds, his family will be prepared for his physical size and the size of his big sweet heart! He lived with another dog in his previous home and did great!- and has met a neutered male similar to him in size since arriving to us, and although he was nervous at first- he let his new friend sniff him - no issues! His friend would walk away then come back to Rocky, and eventually Rocky would start to follow him as if to say âhey friend, Iâm good nowâ! This sweet, shy and precious gentle giant is coming out of his shell more and more each day, and we canât wait for him to find his family!We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. We do not have information on how he does with cats and have no way to test for this. He has done excellent for all his exams, giving tail wags all the way through⦠even with scary needles! He is also keeping a neat kennel which is a great sign for being housebroken! Please come and meet precious Rocky in person to learn all about him and see if he is meant to be part of your family!
