Couldn't sleep either? Hi. ANTARCTICA here.

I just want someone to stay, to really stay—I've got so much love to give and I promise I'll be the sweetest friend you could ever ask for.

My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Statesville.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — ANTARCTICA

About ANTARCTICA

Antarctica was adopted from ICAS in 2024 and now finds her way back to us as a stray, being found in the middle of a roadway. Our attempts to reach out to her previous adopter have been met with dead ends, so now we are going to focus our efforts on helping her to find the family who will ALWAYS love her and keep her safe! This sweet girl deserves that and SO much more! Since she has been with us, she met a similar sized spayed female and was so friendly right from the start! She walked right up to her new friend as if to introduce herself, with the sweetest sniffs and nose-to-nose greetings! She was bouncy and playful right off the bat and didn’t even care when her new friend seemed to get herself worked up. Not THIS girl, she just kept playing and didn’t even react to this behavior! She also got all the attention from her human handlers and LOVED every second of it!! This adorable girl is not only preciously cute, she is VERY sweet and is going to make the BEST companion to her new family and she can’t wait! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit. We do not have information on how she does with cats and have no way to test for this. Please come and meet Antarctica in person to learn all about her and see if she is meant to be part of your family! We are a first come, first served and in person adoption center. If you can provide this cutie with forever, please come and meet her in person at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home safely. Adoption Hours:• Mon–Fri: 12–5pm• Sat: 11am–2pmAdoption fee is 80.
