Hi there! Iggy Courtesy Listing here.
I'm thirteen years of pure confidence and cuddles—still got the energy to keep up with you, the manners to impress your friends, and enough charm to steal your heart before the first walk's over.
They wrote that I love to play. Understatement. I'd hike, fetch, and nap with you, in that order.
I won't fib — there's a little grey on my muzzle. "Older" just means I'm past the wild puppy chaos and all in on cozy company.
I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.
I've been holding down the fort in Evergreen, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Anyway, thank you for reading all the way to the end. Not everyone does, and I noticed. — Iggy Courtesy Listing

About Iggy Courtesy Listing
All people inquiring about pets listed as Courtesy Listings on the EAPL website and/or EAPL posting adoption boards should contact the current pet owner/rescue/shelter for answers to any questions and for final approval and placement. Please do not contact EAPL about courtesy listings. The pet owner/rescue/shelter and new owner shall make all arrangements on transferring the pet, including information on history, vaccines, etc. Contact widowgangsta@gmail.com for more info If wisdom came with a wagging tail, it would look a lot like Iggy. At 13 years old, Iggy shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. He's a sweet, energetic guy who still enjoys his daily walks and is wonderful on leash. He's fully potty trained, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs. His favorite place is wherever his people are. Iggy does have anxiety, especially during thunderstorms, and takes a daily anti-anxiety medication that helps him feel comfortable. He's also an Olympic-level escape artist. Seriously. Iggy can clear a 6-foot fence, so he'll need a home that understands his talent for adventure and is committed to keeping him safe with secure management. Because of this, a traditional fenced yard alone isn't enough. We're unsure how Iggy does with young children, so a home with older teens would likely be the best fit. Dogs like Iggy have a special kind of love to give. They ask for a little patience and understanding, and in return they give you quiet companionship, unwavering loyalty, and a heart that's already mastered what matters most. Iggy is a big boy around 68 lbs. No cats.
