Up late too? Hi. GLENN here.
I'm a gentle soul who loves long walks and the company of calm companions—maybe just you, or perhaps another dog friend, but please, no little ones to herd.
My file says I've got energy to spare — adventure buddy applications now open.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I'm a Statesville local, just waiting on the right person.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
Who knows — by Labor Day I might be napping on somebody's couch. I'd love it to be near you, one way or another.
Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — GLENN
About GLENN
Originally coming to us as a stray when he found a safe place on a stranger's porch during all the fireworks - never reclaimed - soon adopted... Glenn is now back with us! Once in his new home, his family realized he had some tendencies to herd they weren't expecting- as he was constantly trying to herd the children. If they were running, he was trying to herd them... when they were napping, he was resting. So, we know that a home with small children is not the home for Glenn. Now we can find his perfect home AND we know information we otherwise have never learned! ⢠He is easy to leash and easy to walk ⢠He is housebroken ⢠He knows sit⢠He is one happy boy⢠He gets the zoomiesThere were no other dogs in the home, but he has been in play groups during his stay with us and he loved playing with his canine pals - especially those who share his love for âchaseâ and wrestling. He is a gentle player, although he can sometimes be pushy when his friends are tired of playing and he is not. Sweet boy, just wants to play! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children (no small children) prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all. We don't know how he will do with cats and have no way to test for that. All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family memberâs health and wellness. And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet. 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustGlennâs adoption fee is WAIVEDPlease bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are a first come, first served and in-person adoption center and are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC. We are open for adoptions Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm.
