Couldn't sleep either? Hi. FLAPJACK here.
I was quiet at first, but now I blossom around people I trust—and I'm housebroken, reliable, and ready to finally call somewhere home.
My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.
I've been holding down the fort in Statesville, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — FLAPJACK
About FLAPJACK
Flapjack came to us from less than desirable conditions and has grown quite accustomed to being here at the shelter, in a good way!! Yes, that happens! While he considers our staff and volunteers as family, something he likely has not experienced fully prior to coming to us, we hope that he can find his true and forever family, soon! His brother and sister have found their homes, and now it is his turn!Since arriving to us, he has learned what it is like to be taken out when they need to go potty and he has done AMAZINGLY with becoming housebroken! Talk about a neat kennel! Flapjack got along great with the other dogs in his previous home and was out of the kennel with them, as often as staff was able to accommodate... but now it is just him left with us. Of course, we always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all. We don't know how they do with cats and have no way to test for that. All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family memberâs health and wellness. And remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet. 3 days for your new pet to decompress3 weeks for your new family member to settle in3 months for them to build trustHis adoption fee is $80This adorable pup is SUPER sweet and loving, and we can't wait for him to TRULY know what it feels like to be a beloved family member! Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are a first come, first served and in-person adoption center and are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC. We are open for adoptions Monday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm.
