Couldn't sleep either? Hi. DeLaRoser / Bohemia here.

I'm a second-chance girl with a heart full of love, and I promise to fill your days with gentle cuddles, silly antics, and the kind of loyalty only a Lab can give.

My notes say I'm a world-class cuddler, and I'd like that on the record.

I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.

I'm on the bigger side — which, if you ask me, is just more of me to hug.

Born and (almost) raised right here in Broomfield.

Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.

If all goes well, I could be curled up with my new pack by Labor Day — maybe yours, whether you adopt me or just help me get noticed.

Thanks for stopping by and giving me a moment — it honestly made my whole day. — DeLaRoser / Bohemia

About DeLaRoser / Bohemia

General Notes | Bohemia has heart as big as her playful spirit! This adorable little gal is ready to bring endless puppy kisses, gentle tail wags, and joy to her forever home. She is equal parts silly antics and cozy study-buddy cuddling. With her big bright eyes and sweet personality, she's ready to embark on life's best adventures right by your side! Initially on the euthanasia list due to shelter space, this sweet baby was saved at the last minute and is ready for a far better life in Colorado! Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP, and an Adoption Coordinator will be in touch within a few days. Our standard application processing timeline is 12 - 14 days. Personality | Super sweet and happy! All the playful puppy energy, love, and snuggles!Story | Brought in as strays with mama at 4 weeks old, this whole litter ended up on the euthanasia list due to space. It was truly heartbreaking. On their third EU extension deadline, MHLM stepped in and said we couldn't let them die for space. No safe and secure in foster, this crew is thriving and making their way in Colorado! Other Dogs | Great with other dogs! In a litter of six and socializing (safely) with other pups. Cats | Young enough to do well with kitties with proper intros!Children | Young enough to do well with kind, respectful kiddos. Would love lots of snuggles and pets! Training | In progress. Each foster works with their pups individually. All puppies are working on crate training, potty training, leash training, and basic commands. Leash | Too little to leash walk, but will learn with time! Our rescue follows "No Paws on the Ground" (NPOG) as a safety protocol for young puppies, primarily used by veterinarians, shelters, and rescues. It means that an unvaccinated or partially vaccinated puppy should never be allowed to put their feet on the ground in any public or communal area where other dogs or animals may have been. These babies love to play in secure yards, and be snuggled and held on family walks.Activity Level | Moderate/High. Typical puppy who loves to play, nap, repeat!Health Notes | Healthy and Happy :)Thank you! Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $575 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year old, $525 for 1 - 6 years old, $475 for dogs 7 - 10 years old, and $350 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $625. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, transportation to Colorado, and supplies while in foster care (that currently average over $750 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet and greets by appointment to approved applicants only. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process. We will not respond to emails about animal availability or allow meet and greets without an approved adoption application on file. Please Note | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved. Your application is good for one year from the date of applying for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!
