Couldn't sleep either? Hi. TANNER here.
I'm cautious at first, but once you earn my trust, I bloom into a devoted companion who savors quiet moments, good snacks, and gentle adventures at my own pace.
My notes call me gentle and a little shy — I warm up fast once I trust you, though.
I'm a youngster — a little goofy, very teachable, and absolutely ready to grow up beside someone wonderful.
I've been holding down the fort in Brighton, hoping someone like you would wander by.
Here's the thing — I can't tell if we'd truly click until I know a little about you. Sign in (it's free) and I'll size up your place, say hello to any dogs you've got — or be your very first — and give you my honest read on whether we'd be a match.
With a little luck, Labor Day could be my first one in a real home — possibly with you, or with someone you send my way.
Thanks for spending a minute with me. I'll be right here, tail ready, hoping it's you. — TANNER
About TANNER
Meet this shy guy, a gentle soul looking for a patient heart! This quiet pup takes a little time to warm up, but his love is entirely worth the wait. Once he knows he is safe, you will find he is a simple guy who truly enjoys the finer things in life, like eating tasty snacks and exploring the world on daily walks.Because of his timid nature, he needs an experienced owner who understands how to go slow and build his trust. He will thrive in a home with children aged 10 and up, using fear-free and positive reinforcement methods to boost his confidence. He may also benefit greatly from living with a social, confident resident dog who can show him the ropes and help him realize the world isn't so scary.
