The rescue’s notes on LUNA

Luna's brindle coat does a great job of camouflaging it, but your eyes aren't deceiving you... this seven year-old girl is a tri-pawd! Luna came into the shelter with an amputated right rear limb and it does not slow her down. Despite her hard past, she tries very hard to be brave, and has blossomed in foster care. Luna currently lives with another pup, and would do well in a home with kids or another dog. And to top it all off, her foster mom has this to say: “When she decides to let you love her, there’s nothing more special.” Luna has excellent manners (no jumping, biting, barking, or destroying things!) and is fully housebroken and crate-trained. She’s a calm, gentle gal who is timid and fearful of scary new places, but adores the tight-knit people around her. This homebody pup takes time to adjust to new environments but will gladly go for walks in her neighborhood any day.
