The rescue’s notes on Max
Meet Max! This German shepherd mix was born in 2022 and has already had a little too much life experience. His previous owners allowed him to roam, which resulted in him going after a neighbor's chickens and getting shot. He has recovered well from his surgeries, but he is now required to find a home outside of Clallam County. Max's ideal home will have great fencing and no farm animals. He does well with his father that came to WAG with him, but we have not seen him interact with other dogs or cats. Max is friendly with people, but due to his size, might be best for kids at least 8 years old.
