Psst… hi! Beans here.
I've got a feeling you and I could be pretty great together.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Beans 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Beans
Beans is a beautiful 5-year-old husky mix with a sweet, friendly personality and an adventurous spirit. She loves hiking, has excellent off-leash recall, and enjoys meeting other dogs - especially fellow huskies. At home, Beans is calm, well-mannered, house-trained, and comfortable being left alone. She thrives with experienced owners who understand huskies and can provide the structure she loves. While she's social with other dogs out and about, Beans would do best as the only dog in her home, where she can soak up all the attention and be your loyal companion. Here is a description of her from former foster: "Pinto Beans, who we call Beans or "Beanie", she responds to both, is an absolute doll. She has acclimated easily to life outside of the kennel. She is well-behaved at home and can be left on her own. We like to keep music on for her when we leave. She loves walks and hikes and can be off-leash under voice control! She knows commands like wait and stay, and has great recall. At home, she loves to snuggle on the bed with us, but will lay in her bed if told to. She likes to play with toys and will do Zoomies on hikes. She is friendly and curious with other dogs, especially other huskies." Due to her high prey drive, she's best suited for a home without small animals—including small dogs or cats. She thrives in a calm, structured environment with experienced owners who understand her breed's instincts.
