Hi, new friend! Levi here.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Levi 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Levi
Levi is a stunning, young dog that didn't get the love and attention that she needed as a pup. Now she is scared of new people and the world around her, but she has been making improvements every day since she arrived here with us! Sweet Levi is very affectionate when she warms up, and we know there is a great dog inside just trying to come out. She will need a patient home, willing to help teach her how to be a dog. Levi loves other dogs, but as play is a learned behavior in dogs, she is quite awkward and pushy when playing. When she gets excited, she tends to get barky and mouthy – this is how she plays, not realizing others (both people and dogs) find it a bit off putting. We had Levi do a short board and train program with a trainer, and she is doing much better. So someone who is willing to continue to build on this foundation is what Levi needs! She would love to have a playmate, around her size, in the home – one that is confident and patient, and able to give her appropriate corrections! Before going home, she will require at least a few visits to warm up to everybody in the home. Things will have to move at her pace in the beginning, but she is definitely worth the wait!
