Oh — hi! Coal here.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Coal 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Coal
Meet Coal — New Arrival! Coal, a nine-month-old male currently weighing 40 lbs., just arrived at the adoption center and is still getting settled in, so we’re just beginning to learn who they are. Right now, everything is new—new people, new sounds, new routines—and we’re giving them time to relax, decompress, and show us their true personality at their own pace. Since Coal is a recent arrival, we don’t have much background information or many personality notes yet, but we’ll be updating their profile as we get to know them better. Every day reveals something new, and we’re excited to learn all the little quirks, preferences, and habits that make them unique. If you’re open to a little patience and a lot of possibility, come meet Coal! You might be the person who helps them feel safe, confident, and right at home. Check back for updates—or stop by to say hello and discover who Coal is becoming. We are located at 307 W Broadway and open 11am-7pm, 7 days a week (excluding major holidays) – no appointment necessary.
