Stanley

Shih Tzu · Baby · Male · Small

Lincolnwood, IL

Well, hello! Stanley here.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Stanley 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Stanley

Meet Stanley ! Stanley is a shy sweet 9'month-old puppy mill breeder release. He's a sweet Shihtzu with a heart full of love waiting to find the family that will earn his trust and affection, He's a shy and will need your time and patience to reach inside his heart. As a Puppymill breeder release he hasn't been exposed to the nice side of life and people. However, allowing him time to decompress and slowly feel safe to warm up, he'll be your loyal companion for life. Stanley enjoys the company of respectful dogs and do will do far better in a home with another dog to follow ,. His playful side shines when he feels comfortable. If you're looking for a pup that will bring joy to your home, Stanley is eager to meet you! Like all puppies, he'll benefit from gentle structure and positive training to help him settle into his new family and routine. Stanley is fully vetted. He has been neutered, received age-appropriate vaccines, is heartworm and tic borne disease negative and is microchipped. Subsequent vaccines will be at the expense of his adopter. His adoption donation is $1200.00. He's searching for his own completely committed family. Little dogs can live to be 20+ years old, so he wants to be sure his family is all in for better or for worse! IF INTERESTED IN A PUPPY (UNDER 12 MONTHS): You must have a flexible work schedule or preferably someone home all day. Puppies need to be let out to potty often. They need socialization, bonding, and training (housetraining and behavioral training). If you work long hours, have a busy social schedule, or are not financially secure, then a puppy may not be the right choice. We adopt in and to the local Chicago metro area only. We require home visits.
