The rescue’s notes on Tomahawk
Tomahawk (Tommy) found himself unwanted and abandoned at a high kill shelter in West Texas. He is great with other dogs, and people, but cats would need to be dog savvy. He likes to chase some cats, but not all. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. Meet Tomahawk! Tomahawk is a high energy adventurer. He is a lover and just wants to be with you and play all day long. He believes he's the perfect lap dog and just wants to be near his family. He is kennel and potty trained. He is working on leash walking as he gets very excited about everything. He loves dogs. He can be unsure of some men and may bark at them, but does warm up to them, especially if they have treats.
