The rescue’s notes on Rex 3141
Please help us find Rex a forever or foster home. We truly don't understand how this amazing boy is still with us. Rex is an incredible 3‑year‑old who we rescued from Miami‑Dade County Shelter back in November. He has now been stuck in boarding for over 5 months, and it's taking a toll on him. This sweet guy deserves so much more. Rex is a high‑energy, loving, big, strong boy who absolutely loves his walks. He knows some basic commands and has been working on his leash manners, as he can pull and sometimes jump up when he's excited. He is eager to please, and with continued training he will be even more fantastic. Our volunteers and the kennel staff adore him. He has even had overnight stays with volunteers and was a perfect guest—great with kids and so happy to be part of a home, even temporarily. He is dog‑friendly, but a meet‑and‑greet is always required to ensure a good match. Rex is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and he urgently needs to get out of boarding. A foster or adopter would change his entire world.
