The rescue’s notes on Bow

Meet Bow! Bow is a 1-1/2 year old, 14 pound Schnauzer/Cairn Terrier mix. He's an energetic youngster who loves to run around and play with chew toys. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night and does very well being left at home for an hour or two in his crate with no problem, in fact he loves his crate! Bow walks well on a leash, but gets overstimulated when meeting new people or dogs and needs a small amount of time and distance to calm down. He is currently attending obedience training classes and is doing quite well around other dogs and people, as well as learning to follow basic obedience cues. As with most small dogs, Bow doesn't appreciate people leaning over him. He much prefers people approach him by turning to the side and then petting him under the chin. We don't recommend that Bow be in a home with children, and feel he would do best in a household with lots of opportunity for exercise and play each day. He is microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. His adoption fee is $300.
