Canela came to the shelter alongside her friend Kiwi (A051883) after their owner sadly passed away, and sheâs been winning hearts ever since. This medium sized sweetheart is a breeze to handle, walking nicely by your side without pulling on the leash. She already knows how to sit on command and is very treat motivated. Canela has a medium energy level and is perfectly content entertaining herself by sniffing around, but she truly shines when sheâs soaking up attention from you. She loves being pet and will gladly give you sweet kisses in return. While toys donât interest her much, affection is more than enough to keep her happy.She has done well with other dogs in shelter playgroups, though she does have a more dominant personality, so sheâd do best paired with a more submissive canine companion. With her gentle nature, affectionate personality, and easygoing charm Canela is ready to be your new best friend!
