I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.
I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that worry you — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.

Evangeline is a sweet, soulful lady with a gentle spirit. This 10-year-old, 70-pound German Shepherd mix is all about the comforts in life. Think cozy beds, head scritches, and relaxing by a space heater. She's a mellow companion who prefers low energy days and peaceful company. As a senior, Evangeline does have some age-related medical needs. She moves slowly and carefully, but her sweet nature shines through. She's had recent abdominal surgery to remove pieces of fabric that were found in her stomach, and would do best in a home that understands her need for supervision around non-food items. With other dogs, Evangeline has been polite and neutral, offering a calm sniff and a gentle tail wag. She'd be happy as a solo dog or with a respectful canine friend.
