Meet Sir Baxter BooBear — a title he has absolutely earned. At just over a year old and weighing 32 pounds, Baxter is the perfect combination of playful energy, charm, and affection. He's the kind of dog who brightens every room he enters and quickly becomes everyone's favorite companion. Baxter has already mastered many of the important life skills. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and eager to please, making him an easy addition to a family ready for all the fun of dog ownership without the challenges of raising a young puppy from scratch. This happy-go-lucky boy loves adventure. Whether it's going for a walk, hopping in the car for a ride, playing fetch in the yard, or meeting new people, Baxter approaches life with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He adores children and enjoys making friends wherever he goes. Other dogs are welcome additions to his social circle, and he would especially love a canine sibling to romp and play with. While Baxter is always ready for fun, his favorite part of the day may be the quiet moments spent with his people. After a day filled with playtime, zoomies, and expert-level squirrel patrol, he's more than happy to curl up beside you on the couch for an evening of snuggles. Baxter would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run, play, and burn off some of his youthful energy. A home with children ages 8 and older is preferred. Cats, however, are not part of Baxter's dream family. The adoption fee of $350 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
