Hi, new friend! Happy here.

I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Happy 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Happy

Meet Happy! This post has been refreshed as of 6/12/26.Hi! I'm happy's foster mom and I can say she is an absolute DREAM. She along with other foster dogs has been with me for several months. We took in Happy Valentines day this year (of course) as a 2mo 10lb pup and as of mid June she is now close to 30lbs. Likely will top in the 45-55 lb range. I like to think she is a tiger and some think she is a hygena (her brindle color) but she is just an angel in dog form. She LIKELY has a good percentage pitbull (her brother was adopted in April and his DNA test came back 40% pit and like 15 other breeds among poodle, america eskimo, shep, chi, etc) SO, if you do NOT want any pitbull genetics (actually, good luck with that) then this girl is NOT the pup for you and pleae look at other doggos up for adoption. If breed is of no concern to you and are just looking for an amazing dog to add to your family who is a spayed female, will be a nice medium size breed full grown, is awesome with dogs, cats, children, humans and a hipo reincarnated (she takes forever to walk out of her crate when she wakes up, and can nap hard as well as loves to play in bodies of water and especially mudd) . This girl is healthy and has the cutest weired hair chin/mustache around her nose/muzzle so likely a little poodle/terrier breed in her as well. She may not look pit but I am certain she has a good percentage in there. A terrier is a terrier. She is amazing at the dog park and both humans and dogs adore her, children seek her out and she seeks out kitties as friends too. She is crate trained and not a barky dog (for now) but she can have a mighty bark if something scares her. She rides well in the car, she doesn't really get car sick most of the times but there has been 1 or 2 times where she got dizzy and drooled most of it. Good on leash walks but can be a bit slowER than the other pups leading the walk, which is great for those who don't want to be overly pulled. She is also stuborn to go on car rides or leave the dog park. Like, happy, we need to get in the car to go to the dog park and happy we can't live at the dog park we goota GO....stuborn baby. Fun fact. Since she was a little pup when you say "puppy or happy" she runs full speed if you are sitting down and LEAPS into your lap, so you gotta be careful because she doesn't know she is no longer 10lbs ha ha! She also resembles lab behavior she loves to find a toy in carry in her mouth very gently waagging her tail like "look what i got!" super sweet girlieNot sure why she has waited 4mo to be adopted but lets hope its because an amazing FOREVER family will choose her soon and she is just waiting for that human(s)
