The rescue’s notes on Gamma

Gamma is a 2 year old female Australian Cattle Dog mix, who has a joyful spirit and so much love to give. She recently enjoyed a Dog Day Out with two volunteers, visiting the Greenbelt near Lake Carroll. Surrounded by fresh air, sunshine, and peaceful views, Gamma soaked in every moment … but her favorite part of all was simply having people by her side. This sweet girl has a little burst of happy energy when first taken from her cage, but once she gets it out, she settles and enjoys the walk like a true companion. With her adorable expressive ears and a tail that wags nonstop when happy, Gamma has a way of making every moment feel brighter. She has also proven to be very polite with the resident cats at the shelter, so seems to be cat-friendly. What she's really dreaming of is a forever home with a life full of simple joys, gentle adventures, and someone to love her always. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
