Meet Jonquil Named after the bright, cheerful jonquil flower, this sweet girl is ready to bring that same sunshine into your life. At just 8 months old, Jonquil is the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and growing maturity. Jonquil is full of confidence and curiosity. Everything -whether it's a person, dog, chicken, or vacuum cleaner - is a potential friend. She's great with both people and other dogs, making her a wonderful addition to a variety of homes. She has not yet been tested with cats. For a young pup, Jonquil is impressively well-mannered. She is house trained and sleeps soundly through the night. She settles well in her crate, especially after a nice walk or wrestling with her fur-siblings. Jonquil has been easy to train, picking up "sit", "down", "watch me," "off" and "place" in her foster home. Even better, she hasn't shown destructive tendencies so far, which is always a huge win with a puppy Jonquil would thrive in a home that can keep up with her playful spirit while continuing to guide her as she grows. With her sweet personality, confidence, and eagerness to learn, she has all the makings of an amazing best friend. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet.
