The rescue’s notes on BRONY

This dog is on our Call to Action List due to observed resource guarding of food items, possibly toys, lunging at a child, and biting at boots/pants when being returned to his kennel. Brony was also adopted and returned due conflicts with the other dog in the home. Historically, Brony is such a FUN dog with the best smile. He makes us smile too! Originally found on the side of the road in Camarillo, Brony has stolen hearts with his playful, bouncy nature and fluffy tail. He readily accepts petting with a wagging tail and sniffs, and is friendly with other dogs. He's even been kenneled with another large dog in the past.Our volunteers are working with Brony on resource guarding behaviors, but unfortunately his opportunities for enrichment at the shelter are limited. Brony has so much love to give, it’s unreal. This 3-year-old Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix is 67 pounds of cuddles, loyalty, and happy zoomies around the yard. All he wants is space to roam, someone to call his own, and a couch to snuggle up on after. He’s been here since last year, still waiting for his person to find him.
