Yellow dot at intake d/t being wary of handler during intake.O: Leash avoidant, backed away from the leash at first then came forward to be leashed. Erratic changes in pace and direction with some bouncing while walking on leash. In the yard, eliminated immediately x2. Sniffed, paced the fence, went to gate to look out. Alert and watchful while pacing. Came to handlers when called. Sat for treats, offered paw, took treats gently. Jumped on handler, responded to sit. Relaxed with all handling including teeth check. Handled over head, chest, back, legs. Approximately 2 yo by teeth. Followed tossed squeaky toy but did not pick up. Went to the fence to barked at volunteer and dog walking nearby. Distracted by handler with voice and treat rewards. Erratic, zig zag pulling back inside. Easy to rekennel. A: Affiliative young adult with some training (knows sit and paw) but needs to work on loose leash walking. Some anxious pacing and exit seeking in the yard. May be house-trained. May be somewhat reactive to dogs at barrier. P: Adopters should be able to provide rewards based obedience training. Ideally they should have breed experience or have researched the breed.
