Hi there! Bindi here.

I've got a feeling you and I could be pretty great together.

I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Bindi 🐾

The rescue’s notes on Bindi

Bindi is an adorable approx. 3-year-old, 18-lb. terrier mix with a big personality packed into a small, athletic frame. With her expressive eyes and sun-loving spirit, she's the perfect blend of playful energy and total cuddle bug. Personality & Energy: Bindi is full of life and loves to play—especially tug-of-war (she definitely doesn't like to lose). She has a strong prey drive and will happily chase squirrels, sometimes even trying to follow them up a tree! She's also super athletic and can jump impressively high. Social Life: Bindi gets along with dogs of all sizes and is also good with cats, but she does not require another dog in the home—she'd be just as happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only. Habits & Training: Fully house-trained. Crate-trained (but does great without needing it). Walks well on a leash and loves her walks—she gets excited the moment the leash comes out. Knows commands like sit and off. Non-destructive and easy to have around the house. Loves sunbathing in the backyard. Total cuddle bug—she loves laying on you and soaking up affection. Loves car rides safely tethered in. Has the cutest quirk: she tries to "hide" her toys from her foster brother… but usually just leaves them in plain sight. Things to Know: Bindi can be jumpy when she's excited (like when you get home or before walks), so she'd do best in a home without very young kids or with someone comfortable managing an enthusiastic greeter. She can also be a little mouthy during play (no harm intended), so continued reinforcement of gentle play would be helpful. She's also a bit vocal and will bark at outside noises. When meeting new people or dogs, Bindi can come off as intense or reactive at first—this is her way of adjusting and testing boundaries in a new environment. She may do an "alpha-style" display initially and can react strongly, so slow, structured introductions are important. With a little time and patience, she relaxes and becomes friendly, playful, and even best friends—as seen with dogs she was unsure about at first. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Bindi, please complete an app and tell us more about you.
