Beau (SC) is a 10yearold Labrador Retriever mix whose gentle soul has weathered far more than he ever should have. He came into rescue in a neglected state — eyes hurting, skin uncomfortable, thyroid out of balance — yet somehow, through all of it, he never stopped being happy, hopeful, and heartbreakingly sweet. Thanks to our veterinary partner, Beau received all the medical care he required and he has blossomed into such a a handsome boy. He is wonderful with people and other dogs, greeting everyone with the soft, grateful warmth of a dog who knows he's been given a second chance. And don't let his age fool you — Beau is a spunky old man, full of quiet joy, tail wags, and that special spark older dogs carry when they realize life is finally safe. Beau doesn't ask for much. A soft place to rest. A gentle hand. A family who will love him for the rest of his days.
