Special needs: [YELLOW]Background:B found as a stray around a week ago.B did not do well with the cat in the foster's home.B Yellow dot at intake d/t being nervous O:B At back of kennel, lying down.B Immediately stands up and allows leashing.B Walks ok on leash but is very alert to her surroundings and will startle.B Off leash in small yard, explores, comes close to handler and is tolerant of handling, around 4 yo.B Stays close to handlers. Very thin and has very dry skin.B Does some anxious whining and watches outside the pen.B Checks out squeaky toy and carries it away and then drops. No interest in treats at this time. Easy return to kennel but then tries to push her way out and then lies down. A: Anxious young adult, appears affiliative and overwhelmed.B B P:B Rescue if possible.B Adopters should be aware that she'll need time and consistency to acclimate and trust her new family.B Unknown how she'll do with chidren.[2026-04-13 17:46:00.000]
