Psst… hi! Zoe (GA) here.
I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Zoe (GA) 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Zoe (GA)
Zoe (GA) should have been spending her golden years curled up on a couch, adored and protected. Instead, this 15 yearold Poodle mix spent her days living in a car with her owner, and by the time she reached the shelter, she was in a condition no living creature should ever endure. Her skin is raw and painful. A large growth distorts her sweet face. Her body tells the story of longterm neglect, and the truth is… we don't even know everything she's battling yet. But here's the part that breaks your heart wide open: Zoe is still gentle. Still hopeful. Still leaning in for affection as if she's praying someone will finally choose her. She deserves that someone. Zoe is now safe with us, and she will receive every bit of medical care she needs. She'll have a full workup, treatment for her skin, evaluation of her facial mass, and a longoverdue spa day to help her feel clean, comfortable, and cherished. We can fix her body. What we can't fix is the time she's already lost. What Zoe needs now is a home willing to love a senior who has been failed too many times. A home that sees past the neglect and recognizes the beautiful soul fighting to shine through. Seniors don't ask for much—just warmth, kindness, and a soft place to rest. Zoe has so much love left to give, and she shouldn't have to wait one more day to feel safe. If your heart is tugging at you right now, please listen. Zoe needs you.
