Hi, new friend! Honey here.
I won't fib — I've got a little grey on my muzzle. But being older just means I'm past the wild puppy stuff and all about cozy company and slow, happy mornings.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Honey 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Honey
Meet Honey — a sweet, soulful 7-year-old pittie mix ready for her perfect match. This sweet girl is in a NJ foster home Honey is a loving, easygoing companion who's happiest curled up on the couch or relaxing by your side. She's fully house-trained, sleeps through the night, and settles nicely into a routine that includes leash walks and plenty of cozy downtime. In her foster home, Honey lives with multiple dogs and gets along well, respectfully giving space when needed. She can get a bit excited when seeing dogs on walks, but she's working on her manners and improving every day—especially when using an Easy Walk harness. Honey loves the simple things: snuggles, belly rubs, car rides, and her favorite toys (though stuffies don't last long!). She's friendly with new people and has adorable quirks, like her expressive ears and a soft "purring" sound when she's especially happy. She would do best in a home with older children (5+), where she can continue to feel safe and loved. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who's equal parts cuddle buddy and walking partner, Honey could be your girl. She's currently in NJ and ready for her next chapter! Honey will be brought up to date on vaccines and tested for heartworm. She has been spayed and is microchipped. Her adoption donation is $300. - Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
