Penny is a 21-pound terrier, approximately 2 years old, who is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is housebroken and has a sensitive, playful personality—she is loyal and affectionate with her person once she builds trust, and she enjoys cuddling and playtime. Penny has done well with other dogs in her current home but has had limited exposure to new dogs, children, and busy environments, so she can feel overwhelmed in unfamiliar situations and may react when afraid. She would thrive best in a calm home with slow, thoughtful introductions, no young children, and a patient owner who can give her time to adjust and help her continue learning to trust.
