People light up and smile whenever they encounter her! Her distinctive looks and howl have made her a favorite in our neighborhood! Kids love her, and she loves them. She does like to cuddle in her own special way! She likes energetic people. She is great in the house. She doesn't get into mischief, she minds her manners, and waits to be invited into the bed and other parts of the house. Her energy primarily shows up outside. Inside she likes to sleep, chew on bones or cuddle. She is very athletic, can jump really high, loves to chase a scent, and likes many walks a day. Collagen bones light her up. She has learned to sit and wait before eating her food. She is currently working on her big excited emotions on walks when she catches an interesting scent and is also doing well on walks with recall and treats. She knows the commands "sit, down, give me a paw." She LOVES food! Watermelon and bananas are a favorite snack of hers. She enjoys being active and activities such as hiking and being outside, but she is a sensitive girl that also values her down time to relax! She is very funny and has a stubborn and distinctive personality, and cannot be missed wherever she goes! She has gotten used to riding in the car and we think she now looks forward to it because she usually ends up at a park! We love her!" Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants. The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
