Hi there! Roadie here.
I'm still young and full of beans, with a whole lot of love (and a few zoomies) saved up for the right person.
I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.
I do come with a few special needs, but please don't let that worry you — I just need a patient friend, and I pay it back tenfold.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Roadie 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Roadie
Roadie is a handsome 1-year-old, 67-pound Malinois mix with a sharp mind, affectionate nature, and a heart full of devotion. While many young dogs need time to adjust to a new environment, Roadie surprised his foster family by settling in beautifully from day one. Smart and eager to please, Roadie already knows some basic commands, and he has mastered house training and crate training. He loves spending time with his people, whether that means joining you on a walk, playing fetch, soaking up belly rubs, or simply relaxing nearby. Roadie is energetic, deeply loyal, and highly trainable—the kind of dog who forms a strong bond with his family and thrives on connection. He has good leash skills but might get overly enthusiastic when he spots squirrels or some unfamiliar dogs. He remains manageable and responds well to guidance, and would love to continue training. He would do best with appropriately matched dogs or as a solo dog with dog friends outside the home. If you're looking for a fun, loving companion who's ready to be your best friend, Roadie may be your match. Click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.
