The rescue’s notes on Teddy

This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken. They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Duchess & Teddy These two beautiful souls never imagined they'd be starting over at 5 years old. Brother and sister, this cattle dog mix duo has spent their entire lives side by side in a loving home. When their owner passed away 8 months ago, everything changed. With no one in the family able to take them and the home being sold, Duchess and Teddy suddenly found themselves without the only life they've ever known. Through it all, they've stayed true to who they are - friendly, affectionate, and always looking for someone to love. They crave attention, lean in for pets, and find comfort in each other. They're used to having space to run and play, so a fenced yard would be ideal for these higher-energy pups. They would do best in a home that can match their energy and give them the love they've been missing. They have been exposed to kids ages 13+. After everything they've been through, our biggest wish is to see them stay together. They've lost so much already…they shouldn't have to lose each other too. If you have room in your heart and home for two loyal companions, Duchess and Teddy are waiting.
