Skylar is a 5-year-old black and cream long-haired dachshund weighing 7.76 pounds. She has not been well socialized and will need patience and time to come out of her shell, but once comfortable in her home, she is a sweet and affectionate companion who loves to cuddle. Skylar is crate trained, leash trained, and progressing with house training; she gets along well with other small dogs and cats. She requires a fenced yard, a home with children over 11 years old who respect her space, and ideally another small, well-socialized dog to learn from, as well as an adopter who can be home frequently and provide her the patience and kindness she needs to thrive.
