Hugo is a 9-month-old deep red smooth-coated male dachshund weighing 15 pounds. House-trained with access to a doggie door and up to date on vaccinations, Hugo is an energetic puppy who needs an active family willing to continue his obedience training and work with him on manners and leash skills. He does well with other dogs but cannot live with cats, and he should only be placed in homes with children 12 and older. Hugo requires a fenced yard, ideally with a stay-at-home or work-from-home adopter who can provide the patience, consistency, and stability he needs to thrive after moving through three homes in his short life.
