Meet Norma Rae: Tiny Body, Enormous Heart At just 10 pounds, Norma Rae may be small in size, but she's overflowing with love waiting to be shared with the right person. This sweet, young, Chihuahua mix has the most expressive eyes, an adorable wiggle-butt greeting, and a tail that never seems to stop wagging. Beneath that happy exterior is a gentle soul who simply wants to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. Norma Rae is the definition of a loyal companion. In her foster home, she's become a devoted little shadow, following her foster mom from room to room, quietly hoping for a kind word, a gentle touch, or a cozy spot nearby. While she's naturally timid around new people and needs time to build trust, her transformation is remarkable. Once she feels secure, Norma Rae blossoms into the ultimate cuddle bug - a loving lap dog who wants nothing more than to curl up beside her favorite person and soak up affection. She sleeps quietly in her crate, is pee-pad trained, and has excellent indoor manners. She is not yet fully outdoor house trained, so her future family should be prepared to continue helping her learn and build confidence. Norma Rae gets along beautifully with cats and other small dogs, and she truly thrives when she has a canine companion by her side. Having another friendly small dog in the home helps her feel safe and gives her the confidence to navigate the world. Because of this, a home with another small, well-adjusted dog would be ideal.
