Meet Sol, a sweet and sensitive almost 3-year-old mixed breed girl who is finally getting the chance to discover how good life can be. After spending five long months in the local shelter, Sol recently joined SVPP and is settling into foster care. The shelter environment was overwhelming for her — loud, busy, and scary — but volunteers quickly noticed her true personality shining through whenever she got a break in the play yards or headed out on offsite adventures. In just a few short days with her foster dad, Sol has already shown what a lovely companion she is. She enjoys the company of other polite dogs and loves spending time near her humans, soaking up affection and companionship. While she may be a little shy at first, Sol's gentle nature and quiet sweetness make her impossible not to fall for. As we continue learning more about Sol, one thing is already clear: she is ready for a fresh start filled with patience, love, and security.
