Well, hello! Chance here.
I've got a feeling you and I could be pretty great together.
I'm on the bigger side — but honestly, that's just more of me to hug.
I'd love to meet you. But if I'm not quite the one, maybe you could do me one tiny favor — print my bio and pop it up somewhere a future best friend might spot it. Who knows, I might see you at the park someday! Either way, thank you for stopping by and giving me a moment. It really did mean a lot. — Chance 🐾
The rescue’s notes on Chance
Meet Chance Chance is a sweet terrier mix with a heartbreaking past and an incredible spirit. He was found abandoned near a soccer field in Arlington — beaten, terrified, emaciated, covered in wounds, suffering from worms and severe skin infections, and has some vision loss in one eye. Rescuers believe he had been used as a bait dog. Despite unimaginable cruelty, Chance greeted the people who saved him with gentle kisses and trust. The kind people who found him stepped up to foster him, and since then he has made amazing progress. Chance is now neutered, gaining healthy weight, and receiving treatment for heartworms. At only 2 years old and about 60 pounds, he still has his whole life ahead of him — he just needs someone willing to love him. Chance has the sweetest personality. He loves belly rubs, cuddles, and being close to people. He is kennel trained and gets along well with other dogs, though he should not be in a home with cats. After everything he has endured, Chance deserves safety, comfort, and a family who will show him what love truly feels like. Will you help Chance find the happy ending he deserves?
