The rescue’s notes on Desert
Desert is a sweet, confident 6‑year‑old terrier who loves kids and babies and gets along well with male dogs. She's an alpha female, so she can be selective with other females, but she's wonderfully mannered at home—quiet, calm, and never barks. At 45 lbs, she's healthy, fully vetted, and spayed. Like any classic terrier, she has a high prey drive, so squirrels can make walks exciting, but she's made great progress with consistent reinforcement.
